While the design is interesting and the lighting is well placed, the lack of shadows directly beneath and in areas of the body where it should be darker makes the drawing seems off.

Circuitreats responds:

Ahh, thank you so much! I wasn't even considering the fact that, despite the scene taking place at night, the lighting I created should still leave some dramatic shadows both in and under the body. I absolutely agree with you, and thank you so much for your comment! I'll be sure to keep that in mind for future drawings. :)

This is perfect. Newgrounds at its finest.

DeimosArt responds:

perfect?? nahh man, but thanks so much!

The colors and texture are really well done! The anatomy seems quite off though; the head is a bit unproportional.

Ortani responds:

Thank you for your comment and your criticism! I definitely see where you are coming from, I did try to fix the head a little too late into the drawing, but end up leaving it because I didn't know what exactly was wrong with it, but it's done now, another thing to note for next time, thank you again!

At least it's not a really tiny room. Claustrophobia is no fun.

4/5 title too long; can't read

Oddlem responds:

The full title's in the url, also I feel that lol

The rim lighting is pretty spot on! Shading and perspective isn't quite there yet but it's a good start.

ericblak responds:

Thank man, right now i'm just having fun with the art again. My next one will be killer

Damn, the quotes! Where is it from if I may ask? I love how the lineart shifts with each frame too!

Jogurt-NG responds:

It is originally from Paradise Lost by John Milton, however it is also used in a page or two before Frankenstein!

48 hours? Damn, that's some dedication! Beautifully made though I kinda hoped it was in a higher resolution - I know it gotta be possible to make pixel art in high res.

IZMA responds:

It totally is if you wanna go that way! :) in my opinion though the larger you go the more you lose something as it goes up. Theres something really nice about finding what you can do with scales around 64x64 and then upscaling that

Love the angle! Tones and shading could probably be improved but the composition is really nice already!

t1ber1um responds:

Thank you so much! I'm glad you liked it and you are absolutely correct. Shading is 'a bit ' off, I really need to practice more. :)

A stunning concept you have here! The painting style has quite a pleasant feel to it but I think the sketch lines could've been more properly blended so as to not stand out too much.

TheLittlePirate responds:

Thank you for the constructive feedback!

Looking at your other works, I see that you do have a rather developed style but your composition overall seems to be a little behind. You can try to make better use of the empty backgrounds and try out some design techniques regarding shapes or color theory. I think your art may benefit greatly from it!

CapnJ responds:

My Sweet goodness, thank you so much for your constructive criticism! I honestly waited for this.
