submitted but not the first I've recorded.
I was going to also animate this a little so it looks like fancy game loading screen but I'm still looking around for a good software. Screw adobe so no premier. Live2D maybe?

I reworked my old wix page to a much simpler one for commission info! I'll be open starting February, but you can contact me anytime to discuss stuff.
There's also some goodstuff in the sample art for commissions. I've been... experimenting, you see *wink wink*
Also, bonus stuff. There's a link there to a casual Twitter account I've just been using to follow some people. I'll be using it for fanart stuff later this year. Tweet at me anyway if you wanna share memes
I still don't know how to twitter tho
There's also a link to my semi-dead Instagram

Don't have anything special but happy new year! May 2020 be a great new year for all of us.
Last year I made a similar post with some reflections and expectations. Did I succeed them? On a scale of 1 to 10 I think I hit a...

I went to the animation route instead of games and didn't finish writing but I did finish most of the stuff I started 2019 so that's the good bit. My summary of 2019 is that it's lots of surprises all year round. Expectations for 2020? Getting better at animating/making little short films. I will also be updating my old forgotten wix website to link to for commission details since I've been able to land a few consistently every other month or so.
There's two projects that'll carry over to 2020. One is the third installment to Insufficient which needs a lot of fixing considering the response to the second one which I rushed for Halloween. The other one would be coming out later this week... or whenever it finishes. I still haven't done the coloring and touched anything sound related. I want to avoid rushing stuff so much and sacrificing the results.
Anyway, cheers to everyone on NG. Thanks for the unexpectedly good year.
Watch it when it comes out. Please.
I'm trying out something with this one and my dignity's on the line.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!
It's been an insanely busy time for me but I was able to take a breather and enjoy some time this Christmas. I'll be having my new-year break pretty soon and there's something quite new that I've been working on (spoiler: it's a season-friendly animatic). The new Project system is supposed to release next week so it should be the perfect opportunity to see how the new setup is. I'm super excited (and nervous) to share the results, but hopefully it'll be a good end and start to a new year.
I joined Secret Santa in the Art Forum and got a really pleasant drawing from @MrShmoods!
Perfectly captures my Christmas this year. Sucks to be away from home. My only comfort are warm drinks and disgusting amounts of food so this piece is the cherry on top.
I posted my own submission just now (for @redemer19). Managed to capture redemption and classic Japanese humor so I'm satisfied with most of the result!

It's the start of November and spooky month has just ended. Hope everyone had a great Halloween (if you celebrate it).
I've been making plans in an effort to discipline and push myself to be better. Up to December I've got a few things I'd like to be working on regularly. The first and easiest one would be the monster series. I'll be posting that whenever I don't have anything specific to draw. The next one would be a bunch of fanarts, since I feel like I don't give enough appreciation to the creators that inspire me. I'll probably be posting these on Fridays - cuz Fanart Fridays sounds like a legit thing. Hopefully this will get me to post two or three times a week.
Here's one fanart I'm working on:
If you can guess the musician and the exact song you get a whole genuine "Congratulations!" from me.
Aside from that, I'll be working on something I'll put up next year and continuing on Insufficient. The last one had a lower score than the last so I'll make sure to spend more time on the third part. As for the new project, it isn't an animation so I don't know how well that will takeoff on NG. Fingers crossed.

My submission for the Halloween contest and a continuation (sort of) for the Insufficient series! I decide to post a few days shy from the end of the month. Might've been a good idea to polish it some more but there's university stuff to attend to (which sucks).
If I can spare extra time I'll probably pop in another art submission and maybe one for the writing contest.

There's less than a week until the deadline for Haloween submissions and I've just roughly finished the animation and compiling sound effects (doing everything on my own for this one). Due to the rush I'm not sure if it will be much of an improvement to the first one. Hopefully it'll still be somewhat decent.
Here's a segment of the animation. If I have time, I might clean up the lines some more. Frames will be slightly smoother than this one (for most parts).
The final animation will be about 1.5 minutes. It's part of the Insufficient series I'm doing, but it isn't a direct continuation. Kinda like a side-story.

Thank you (again) to all 105 of you followers. You've consciously made the choice to let me invade your feed and spam you every fifty years or so. I'd spare a quarter of my kidneys for you people.
Bad jokes aside, October is a special month for me. Reasons include Halloween and the start of my final year in university (hooray). Less time to do anything but that never stopped me, I practically don't sleep.
I've got a few things I'll be posting for NG's Halloween event but I also want to take the opportunity to change things up in general. I want to improve, I want to make stuff that people enjoy.
So, if you feel like spending extra time and energy replying to this unnecessarily wordy post, tell me what you'd prefer to see more from me. Like you've probably noticed, I prefer to build my own world instead of making fan art and the like. Is that something you'd prefer or would you want me to try out more fanart?
I also want to try using captions in posts for little short stories. I might be drawing a bunch of common monsters throughout October (like that last mermaid post) so that might be fitting. Unless you think that's narcissistic cringe. Please let me know and let me maintain a false sense of dignity.
Final words, I hope you appreciate the meme my profile page had become. Felt cute, might change it back later.
